DUFOULEUR family : vintners since 1596 running a 33 ha vineyard estate in the ‘Côte de Nuits’ and ‘Côte de Beaune’.
The Dufouleur family sold one year ago its négociant activity ‘Dufouleur Père & Fils’ which used to be the distributor of the family estate still belonging to the family.
The new generation represented by Yvan & Yann decided this year to start distributing Independently the family estate wines.

Medium-full colour. Rich, ample if slightly reduced nose. Fullish body, fat, and with good tannins on the palate. Quite backward. Good vigour and energy. Long. Very good plus. From 2014. 16.5.

Racy nose. Very sweet, polished fruit. Spicy and well constituted. Very vigorous. Transparent. Hint of chestnuts. Definitely sweet.

Interesting layers of nuance. Juicy fruit. Liquorice, minerals. Quite succulent. Juicy fruit with very fine tannins and just a suggestion of vegetation. Some slight greenness on the finish. Finishes a little suddenly but honest and fresh. Lacy minerals.

- Average yield : 39 hl / ha.
- Vinification : total ‘égrappage’, cool maceration for one week, oak barrel which 1/3 new. ‘malo – lactic’ fermentation.
